• Understanding the Customer Requirement-Balance Score Card (BSC), Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), Quality Function Deployment (QFD), Project Selection and Prioritization

•Defining and developing the project charter, building a goal/problem statement

•Project scoping: selection of team members, assigning roles for the team Members

•Goal means diagram, problem definition tree

•Business case and project sign off

•Capturing Voice of Customer (VOC) and its relevance

•CTQ characteristics-characteristic, unit of measure, target, specification limit, desired level of quality
